Pope Francis

Patty Merlo, MPM

Saturday, April 14, 9:30am-12:30pm

Suggested Offering: $25

Pope Francis asks us to "see with our hearts," that is to be open to the movements of the Holy Spirit, in our personal lives and in the life of the Church.  He encourages us to view our past with gratitude and forgiveness, to live the present moment with passion, and to look to the future with hope and trust in God's mercy. The morning will begin with a short biography of Francis, focusing on events which shaped him as a priest and leader.  With that background, we will allow him to engage us in conversation, as we reflect upon the questions that often emerge during his daily homilies.  This will lead us to consider how our own relationships, choices, and desires are guided by the Holy Spirit.
