The emergence of the Holy Spirit in Scripture is a gradual process.  It begins with creation in the book of Genesis, extends to the anointing of leaders, kings, and prophets of the people of God, manifests itself as the sacred mediator between Jesus and the Father in prayer and Jesus' working of miracles, and finds its culmination in the manifestation upon the earliest Christians at Pentecost.

This session will examine the divine Spirit's characteristics and offer a brief overview of "Spirit" manifestations in both the Old and New Testaments.  Doing so will help us address, locate, and enlist the Holy Spirit in our own lives and ministry.
